🔁 Spotify-owned Soundtrap wants to make editing a podcast as easy as using Google Docs
Ashley Carman, writing for The Verge, covers the launch of a new podcast editor:
Its most impressive feature is how simple it’s supposed to make editing: podcasters can just cut words out of an automated transcript of their conversation, and the changes will be automatically reflected in the audio.
Of course, at the end of the whole process, Soundtrap offers users easy publishing directly to Spotify by checking a box. Users can also submit their transcript to Spotify, which Emanuelsson says is used to “improve discoverability.”
